Clair is based in Melbourne Austrailia, and her blog has such alluring spring/summer photos at the moment, which is such a strange and wonderful site for me, as we traverse through fall here in Minnesota. Clair’s style has that bright and brilliant commercial quality that I’ve come to think of as a sort of “jinky-ness” for those of you who know who I mean. One thing I love about Clair’s work is her different perspectives. When I taught some community ed photography classes, I tried to show the students the tremendous difference that just changing the camera/shooters perspective and position can bring. I should have had a few of Clair’s photos to illustrate what I meant!
I picture Clair doing a shoot climbing and crawling all over on her belly, getting those great angles and seeing things from a child’s perspective. It really works, and I know you will enjoy her marvelous work!
