• Welcome to Blogs of Photogs! Blogs of Photogs is owned by Mary Hanson, of Mary Hanson Photography. I welcome readers and other photographers to submit their blog, or blogs they admire, to be reviewed. There is a long list, and it takes a tremendous amount of time to visit, read, and review so many great (or not-so-great) photography blogs. If you have emailed rest assured you are in the list. Some keys to getting reviewed are: updating your blog often, having beautiful photography, writing more than just a two word description about your photos, having the "bugs" worked out of your blog (links that are broken or images that don't load are too frustrating to send hundreds of readers to visit...) and a sense of humor helps too. :) Thanks for enjoying my project!

Also, I encourage you to visit and support our sponsors of the blog, as they help pay for the costs and upkeep of the site, and are great vendors! Email if you are interested in becoming a sponsor. Opportunities are limited within similar categories.

Off to a short vacation…and awesome actions to review!

My three sweet kids, my wonderful husband & I are off to a Florida vacation in the morning. I am so seriously behind in proofing that I didn’t have time to blog here like I wanted to. I will be back with some great photographers blogs next week, so check back soon! In the meantime, I have to share the most amazing set of actions I have ever seen. If you take photos with cool urban backgrounds, etc, you will for sure want to check out MCP actions new set, All in the Details. Jodi’s actions are just stunning in all they can do. They could really jazz up just about any photo, or make a very good photo amazing. I was lucky enough to get to play with this action pack before its release, and I don’t have the photos I played with on this computer to share with you~ but the possibilities are endless. Make sure you visit her blog and see some of the stuff posted that people have done with this new set. Link is here. Her blog also is just a great wealth of info for photographers of all levels. Jodi seems to be such a giving person. Check it out!

best,
Mary

I am so enjoying your blog and I just wanted to say thanks. I also agree about Jodi. I use her eye doctor action on almost every image. It’s exactly what I had learned to do to make eyes pop without the hassle of doing it! That’s also true of many of her actions; they make life easier! Thanks again and have a great vacation!
