• Welcome to Blogs of Photogs! Blogs of Photogs is owned by Mary Hanson, of Mary Hanson Photography. I welcome readers and other photographers to submit their blog, or blogs they admire, to be reviewed. There is a long list, and it takes a tremendous amount of time to visit, read, and review so many great (or not-so-great) photography blogs. If you have emailed rest assured you are in the list. Some keys to getting reviewed are: updating your blog often, having beautiful photography, writing more than just a two word description about your photos, having the "bugs" worked out of your blog (links that are broken or images that don't load are too frustrating to send hundreds of readers to visit...) and a sense of humor helps too. :) Thanks for enjoying my project!

Also, I encourage you to visit and support our sponsors of the blog, as they help pay for the costs and upkeep of the site, and are great vendors! Email if you are interested in becoming a sponsor. Opportunities are limited within similar categories.

#132…Sakura Photography

Leslie & Mark Biggar are the team behind Sakura Photography of Vancouver. Their blog features a wide range of photographs, from newborns to engagement sessions (their urban ones rock!), their recent trip to Guatemala and of course, their specialty of weddings. Everything on their site and blog is polished, lovely and professional, but I’m especially fond of their wedding images. They do such a wonderful job of capturing the exuberance and elation of the wedding and reception. Their lighting is sublime and they focus on all the details of getting ready, the ceremony and the party. Simply great work!

Besides being one of the nicest people I know, Leslie Biggar has a fantastic eye and a dedication to becoming the best photographer she can be. She and Mark have the ability to take people and put them in the most interesting places and make art out of it. I absolutely love her eye for lines and texture and amazing structures. I am so excited that you chose to feature her on here! Keep your eyes peeled for Leslie in the future … she is a rare gem.
