Clair is based in Melbourne Austrailia, and her blog has such alluring spring/summer photos at the moment, which is such a strange and wonderful site for me, as we traverse through fall here in Minnesota. Clair’s style has that bright and brilliant commercial quality that I’ve come to think of as a sort of “jinky-ness” for those of you who know who I mean. One thing I love about Clair’s work is her different perspectives. When I taught some community ed photography classes, I tried to show the students the tremendous difference that just changing the camera/shooters perspective and position can bring. I should have had a few of Clair’s photos to illustrate what I meant! I picture Clair doing a shoot climbing and crawling  all over on her belly, getting those great angles and seeing things from a child’s perspective. It really works, and I know you will enjoy her marvelous work!

Shannon Snyder, of Defining Details, works in and around Hermiston, OR and Tri-Cities, WA. Shannon seems to be another photographer that does it all. Her blog features photos of everything ranging from maternity to children, to high school seniors and engagements & weddings. Her most recent posts have some great senior photos, love her quotes from the seniors on their favorite things. I really love the family shot on page three as well- “I don’t think I have any model left in me”…. how cute is that?

Shannon does an exceptional job of being one of those all around renaissance photographers who does everything well, and makes it look easy-from getting all the detail shots in a wedding, to a folded up little newborn,  to making “average” people look their best. Lots to look at~enjoy!

Heather Mosher works out of NY and NJ and surrounding areas, but my favorite photos on her site and blog are the ones she makes in Tribeca in NYC. The textures and depth and tones in them are just richly luscious and make me want to do more urban photography in my own downtown area. You will love her work and find quite a bit of inspiration here. Enjoy!
