Nicole Mlakar works out of the Austin, Tx area, specializing in photographing pets and their people with fabulous results. Her blog features loads of adorable furry friends and their owners, showing so many wonderful expressions and playful moments. Bernadette Uzcategui Photography, or BUphotography, is one of those amazingly-talented-at everything photographers. She is as skilled with pets as she is with children, rocks with headshots and commercial photography and does a lovely job with maternity. Her blog is a wonderful blending of all of the above and more, with lots of great inspiration for my readers to browse through. How much fun is *this*?? I just had to bump recent submission, Cowbelly Pet Photography, to the top of the list. The Cowbelly Blog features some of the most fun and creative pet photography I’ve seen. I’ve done a small bit of pet photography myself, so I know it brings an entirely different set of challenges. These are really unique and fun pet images-hope you will all enjoy this departure from babies, children, weddings, etc. I adore her catchphrase as well, “A picture is worth a thousand woofs” :) Jamie Pflughoeft works out of Seattle.

I stumbled across Anna’s site this morning while looking for someone new and different to feature. I love that she photographs photographers families so often… makes is fun to see people on her blog that I “know” from online. Her style is very different, it has almost a voyeuristic feel to it, but in a good way, if that makes *any* kind of sense.  She also does a lot of dogs, and seems to enjoy the heck out of her job.  Anyway, I heartily enjoyed her blog, and her site... hope you do too!
