Angela’s personality and her photos are so bubbly, colorful and polychromatic that she would cheer up any dark cloudy day! The thing I’ve always loved about her work is it looks like she is just having so much fun when she is shooting,... I got a little lost reading through it all, and enjoyed myself immensely! (And that doesn’t happen often, I’m a good skim-reader! I added her to my list of blogs to check out months ago, and finally got to her today and am so glad I did! She has an especially lovely way with lighting the small ones she photographs, and...  I’d advise getting a cup of coffee and setting aside a little chunk of time for viewing the work from my next post ~National Geographic’s Photo Camp.  Ok, I’m finally back. I really try to post every few days or so, but got behind with proofing sessions, and then when my brother had a medical emergency and ended up in the hospital, that kind of sapped my energy with worrying. I don’t know if she has a lot of help or if she is just insanely all over the place in her town of Springfield, IL, but reading her blog and her site make me *tired*!!! Looks like a lot of fun though… from the seniors in her...  Ok, at the moment (early Saturday morning) Kim McCormick is my favorite person. Her blog was submitted recently, and I finally (thankfully, gratefully!) read it this morning. First thing I liked was the couple of shots of marvelous macro work at the top of her blog. Beautiful!But then, I scrolled down to read her...  David photos are sparkling and effervescent… just full of such fun! The color images are some of the best I’ve seen (not over done, just bright and bubbly!) and he has several different b&w conversions that really show lots of different moods. Okay, so its not a “photography blog” but its something that every photographer should know about. Its a wonderful review site for photography vendors, created by Susan Robichaud. Anyone who has been near a photography board in the past year knows that *everyone* (and their mothers, lol) is selling something: actions, presets, templates, workshops, jewelry,... Kevin’s Blog just feels like a breath of fresh air. I’ve looked at so many blogs lately (and thats why it takes longer between posts…burnout) and they are All. Starting. To. Look. The. Same. (to me.) Ok, first off I have to tell you I live in Minneapolis, MN. We have cold cold winters, a few days ago the temperature was about -15F, heat wave right now with a whopping 32 degrees… Add the windchill in and by February, I’m so over winter. So, I’m loving this blog from sunny warm... I know there are some amazingly talented photographers out there who I have never heard of. I’m always amazed when I stumble across them and wonder all day how I never have before. Susan Stripling is one such photographer.
