Blair does such beautiful work… I am looking forward to her blog becoming more lively *SOON* as she returns from maternity leave after the birth of her beautiful daughter.

Wanted to feature a slightly different photographer: Joey Lawrence. His work is nearly the polar opposite to any I have featured on here yet, and to top it off, if I recall correctly, he is 17 years old. (Maybe he is 18 now… not sure, but when I first stumbled onto his website, he was 17) Anyway, his blog is not too heavy on photos, but fun to read anyway. You can find it here. However, if you really want to see some awesome, surreal and amazing photos, go to his main site here, click on the link and look through the personal gallery. Especially the homeless and the urban galleries… just amazing to view. What a talent in such a young man. Enjoy!

Yeah, I know, lots of you fellow photogs may have already ooohed and ahhhhed over Joyce’s work shown in her posts on ILP and ProPs. But what some of you might *not* know is how funny, vibrant and nice she is too! It really comes through in her photos, and on the writing in her blog (especially if you peruse her blog into the archives), her blog is found here, or stop by her main site found here. Her style is fun, fresh and modern, and I have to say, it seems like her clients all have the best taste in clothes, (especially the dresses on the little girls…!) Joyce works out of Philadelphia, PA, where I’ll be visiting end of January. Maybe we can meet?

I almost hesitate to post about this photo blog. To all my photography friends: Forget everything you know about marketing, logos, fluff, websites, and anything remotely related to those. Cynthia is about photography. Soul stirring, life as art, art that inspires, beauty captured one frame at a time by her film camera. Don’t click on her blog unless you have the time to devote to really reading and absorbing the beauty. It will change you. I’ve been reading it on and off for years, and every time I come back to her blog, I remember why I picked up a camera in the first place. *Sigh* She is a true artist. Enjoy: Here is the blog, and here is her site.
If you have never checked out her blog or site, take a minute to see it. Blog is here and site is here. The thing I like best about her blog (and site too…) is the variety. She’s rockin’ the family sessions, something I see a lot of photographers struggle with, but still such a great variety of fun kids of all ages, newborns and high school seniors. Well worth a look…

I first “met” Mare from Marmalade online about three years ago (on ILP.) I’ve always admired her photography and the ethereal quality of her work. It has a warmth and glow that is really special. I don’t know if there is some special post processing going on or if she just sees things differently than I do, but it was a joy to take a first peek at her blog. Click right here for the blog. Scroll down a bit to see some of her work from November. Lovely…

Shannon Sewell is someone I don’t recognize from any of the photography forums I frequent, but bet I’ll be seeing more of her work! Her blog is here…
Ken has a great blog, a nice mix of gorgeous color, and warm toned b&w’s. I also like how he gives us a slice of *his* life in the blog, while still keeping it about the photos. My only beef is that I have NO idea where he is located geographically, from either the site or the blog! Might want to add that info Ken!
