#150…David Quisenberry

Sunday, August 30th, 2009

As most high school senior photographers already know, it is prime time for getting the class of 2010 done! Many seniors just start to think about senior photos as “back to school” rolls around, but many others planned ahead and already have booked or completed their session. I’ve been looking for some awesome photographers to feature that specialize in senior photos, and one of my absolute favorites is David Quisenberry. He does a stunning job in studio with studio lighting, amazing with natural lighting and on location outside the studio, and what is most laudable is David’s ability to have truly unique images of each senior! The sneak peeks on his blog showcase such a wide range of styles, personalities, poses and backgrounds- great for his clients and also amazing inspiration for my Blogs of Photogs readers! David is also extremely talented in working with other ages, but I wanted to especially feature his senior/grad work! He works out of the McKinney, TX and the greater Dallas Metroplex area. Enjoy!

Monday, August 24th, 2009

Patrice Gaspard-Nelson of LaBellaVita-Beautiful Life Images works out of Southern California where she specializes in photographing families and children. Patrice has lovely crisp clean and vibrant images, great locations, and her clientele represents a refreshing and delightful range of diversity, which is always a joy to see. Check out her blog for info on her workshop (held jointly with 3 other photogs) for photographers as well, looks interesting!

Enjoy!

#148…Angie Baxter Photography

Saturday, August 1st, 2009

Angie Baxter of Melbourne Australia, has such a fresh, fun, bright look to her work. As I was browsing I thought to myself, if this is her winter work, what is her summer work like? You know how sometimes you will hear a really great baby laugh? The kind that makes you think, I should record this, so if I’m ever having a bad day, I can listen to it and it will instantly cheer me up and brighten my day? That is what Angie’s work is like- colorful without being overdone, warm and delightful. Enjoy!

And, on a personal note, I will be out of the office for two well deserved and glorious weeks by the lake, without internet access, TV or much of anything except family, relaxation, swimming and fishing. Wish me well and check back mid August for lots more posts! Thanks so much to all my readers and sponsors!

best,
Mary
