I’ll do my best to offer some freebies here from time to time.  It might be a card template, or a texture, or something else. Today’s “freebie friday” offering is from Angela Kiefer. This beautiful damask card is easily customizable, there are 2 layers for the border around the photo – one for a black border and one for a white one, just turn on the one you want.  They can also turn off all layers to have a back if they are doing press printed. It is sized to 5×7, so if you are doing press printed,  you may want to scoot the photo & frame in a bit with free tranform to keep it within safe lines. Thanks so much Angie!

I’m going to be swamped tomorrow (friday 10/24) because of a big fundraising auction @ my kids school, so I’m putting up the friday freebie today! This was one created by yours truly, Mary Hanson, and can be downloaded from mediafire by clicking this link. It has the plain background, which you can use if you want for a plain back (add your logo if desired) on a press printed two sided, and it has a slight vignette layer to the background which can be turned on or off, depending on taste. To insert your photo, “apple+a” click your photo to select the whole thing, then “apple+c” to copy it. To select the shape box for photo, “apple+mouse click” the shape box in the layer pallet. Then, from the Edit dropdown in PS, choose “paste into”. Then free transform the layer to make it fit how you want. Perfecto! Fonts used are hannibal lecter and Engravers MT. Okay to use for clients photos that you took or personal use only, not for resale or for advertising on the internet/card sites for people to send in photos. Thanks! Enjoy!
